By Mail
We work from a database of over 8,000 businesses of consumer goods and services. Our database includes the direct name, title, and address of the person at each business responsible for receiving gift-in-kind donation requests. This ensures your letters arrive at the right place. Work with your organization to develop an appropriate and effective donation request letter. Once the letter is finalized, we mail-merge the request letter with our database on the charity's (or other organization's) stationary. With each letter we include an item donation form that is branded with your organization’s logo as well as information from each donor such as company name, donation description, special instructions, estimated value, etc.

By Phone
For larger or more personalized items, usually associated with local businesses, we contact the potential donors by phone, acting on behalf of your fundraiser. If the ask if for a very expensive or unique item, such as a vehicle, we will send someone from our gift-in-kind solicitation team to meet with the business and personalize the ask.

Regardless of how we make our request, we follow-up with donors by making arrangements for pick-up/shipping of items from donors and/or your organization to our Toronto warehouse where we store all items (of course some exceptions may apply). We catalogue all items and provide you a detailed list of what your fundraiser has received.
