Kalan Porter

Kalan is from Medicine Hat, Alberta and was the second champ on Canadian Idol, competing in 2004 against 8,977 other contestants to be crowned the winner.  Shortly after his Idol win, Kalan released his debut album, "219 Days" which has achieved double platinum sales status in Canada. Kalan sold out 40 consecutive tour dates in early 2005 and set summer festival attendance records across the country during July and August of last year. He was recently nominated for three 2006 Juno Awards, including Artist and Album of the Year and is currently finishing up pre-production for his next CD due in August 2006.
